Move to Outlook Folder

Hi all. PRODUCTIVITY IS UP! Already, after only a week! Perhaps I am missing something, but I would realy like the following to happen: After I perform an action on an email (Defer, Deletgate, Save to Folder/Journal etc) I would really like the email to automatically be moved to the asisgned Outlook folder for the project for safe keeping? Is this possible? Or even if it pops up and asks me if I would like it to be moved? I am find the product fantastic, but I often have to open up the navigation pane to file the email in its assigned project folder, which seems to break the 'flow' of becoming task focused. Thanks, Ben

Move on Defer event

In the next version (due out in June, most likely early June 2010) - we've added the ability to set the destination folder on the Defer event to a specified folder (which works in the current version), or to an associated Project Outlook folder.  That is, the Outlook folder specified in the Project properties dialog in the Folder tab.

When Defering a mail in the inbox, selecting a project for the task via the Quick Select dialog will move the originating e-mail to the selected project's associated Outlook folder automatically.  If configured in the Project Explorer's Tools-Options dialog.

Move on Defer, Delegate, etc.

Ben -

Thanks for the suggestion - I will look into making that work.

In the meantime - you can move an email on a defer action, but only to one specified folder.  You can set the folder via the Tools-Options dialog in the Project Explorer.

thx
Chris

Thanks

Thanks Chris.I am using your suggested work arround and moving emails into a folder (To Be Filled), and then organising them into their project folders at a later date - it gets them out my inbox! If you could look at a better solution that would be great.A new button on the email taskbar next to "Save to Folder", perhaps "Save to Outlook Folder" or something would work? The project already has a Outlook Folder tied to it.Best wishes, Ben
