Duplicate entry - sub-task strangeness
On the Exchange installations, we've noticed that tasks and sub-tasks may not work. This has to do with how Exchange keeps track of it's objects. On the client side, there is an object ID, aka short term ID, and on the server side there is an object ID, aka long term ID, that inherits the short term ID but adds a bit more. We've been tracking against the short term ID, and when using the Planning tab on the Task object, Outlook presents the long-term ID, hence introducing an opportunity for duplicates and/or missed parent-child connections.
This is fixed in our development build and is due to release by end of month (June 2010).
UPDATE: Fixed in our latest released v3.1.1001 - as of June 27, 2010
