Sync with Toodledo very slow

I am evaluating this software.  I don't understand why it takes so long to perform a synchronization.

Does the Ceptara sofware index the outlook data file?  Is it indexing more than just the "tasks" component of Outlook?  There appears to be some sort of syncing going on, but it only adds a few tasks each time I sync.  I've been at this almost all day now.

Working with ToodleDo

There may be two factors contributing to your experience - in this forum post: http://www.ceptara.com/node/373, we cover 'Things to Keep in Mind', the first two bullets describe ToodleDo limits that can manifest into a 'slow sync':

  1. TD limits the # of transactions per hour (using API v1.0) to 120 per hour.  The Organizer respects the limit and governs the sync process.
  2. TD limits the # of tasks that can be retrieved in a single query to 1000 tasks.  So any task beyond than initial 1000 will not have a chance to get sync'd because of the way we've written the sync routine.

Also - if the sensitivity is set too tightly (e.g. less than 60 seconds) or is set to be close or similar to the sync interval, that can cause multiple edits to a task and impact the # of tasks sync'd at any one time.

If these aren't your issues, please feel free to send a support request (via Project Explorer), so that we can view your error logs to look for additional anomalies.
