Can we use the roles in the tasks?
Tue, 06/09/2015 - 08:14 — ioroviog
I can see that we can use the roles in the task, but I can't see that in the tasks.
Is there any posibility to use the roles in the tasks?
Best regards

Purpose of the Role
Thanks for the note -
The reason the role exists is to allow the user to know how much time is being spent in a specific role, e.g. #Father or #Leader. Hence the reason it's connected to an appointment object.
When a role is created an entry is also created in Outlook's Master Category list. So theoretically, you should be able to categorize a task to a role as well. There just isn't a ribbon button to control the assignment in the task like there is for an appointment.
Perhaps you could let me know the scenario you're trying to enable and we can think about how to best enable that process.
thx for the note and the feedback.

Purpouse of the role
Hello,
Thank you for your answer.
The scenario to use the roles in the task is because the tasks, as the appointments, are connect to one of your roles as to the context.
For me is important to know to what role are linked to one task.
