Default Task Folder - SharePoint Integration
Mon, 11/15/2010 - 03:19 — bengreen1980
Hi Forum,
I have recently started using SharePoint server. How can I set Organizer to post tasks to the Sharepoint Task folder in Outlook, not my default Exchange Task folder?
Thanks, Ben

I don't currently work with the latest version of SharePoint, but did quite a lot one version ago.
In order to add a task to a SharePoint folder from Outlook, you'll need to go into the Outlook task view, select the SharePoint folder from the 'My Tasks' navigation group, then add a new task.
Organizer doesn't select what task folder to add a task to, Outlook is generally in charge of that. So if there's a way in Outlook to change your default task folder that would be good. Otherwise, there may be a way using a Custom Form - not sure.
