Q: "Complex" Tasks
Thu, 02/03/2011 - 11:33 — adam_j_bradley
I was wondering if embedded task content will be sync'd/stripped? A lot of my Outlook Tasks contain embedded emails/attachments and I'd love for them to be preserved!
This relates specifically to using Toodoledo as the back-end sync service.
Sincerely,
Adam

ToodleDo does not support embedded objects
Thanks for the note Adam -
That would be cool - having the ability to preserve attachments in the cloud. Unfortunately, as far as I can tell, ToodleDo doesn't supported embedded objects.
We have been looking at leveraging TD notes to be able to sync richer content, but haven't done any implementation yet.
The whole space of sync'ing notes and having them available everywhere is very intriguing. Microsoft OneNote, EverNote (which integrates with Nozbe / a ToodleDo competitor), TD notes, box.net, dropbox, etc. are all services that are springing up to solve this problem.
I'd be interested in hearing what direction people would like to go for connecting notes to their work objects, i.e. contacts, tasks, appointments, etc.
