Hidden Mail Item
Thank you for the note.
The data store for the projects is saved into a hidden email item in your default inbox. In order for the Organizer to find the project data store, that mail item would need to be sync'd between your computers.
I apologize I don't know anything about the tool you're using, so I'm not sure if it sync's your mail as well.
symplesyn also sync`s my mail
symplesyn also sync`s my mail from all folders.but it seems it can not handle hidden objects. so how do I get access/unhide to the hidden mail object, to sync it like a regular mail?
POS data store
hi chris, I found the ITEM storing the project data but have no idea how to get it synced. any idea`s? thanks and greets
Not sure
Jupp -
I moved the datastore from a future appointment to a hidden e-mail to avoid 3rd party tools from truncating the body of the appointment. It has made the system quite a bit more stable.
In your case, unless the 3rd party tool can pick up hidden items, I'm afraid I'm not sure where to lead you. In Exchange and like services, hidden mail items are sync'd computer to computer. It appears that your sync solution doesn't support that paradigm.
Our plan is to move our dependent files (e.g. the datastore) to a service, therefore, it won't make any difference what e-mail solution you're using. We hope to get the service launched this year.
Sorry I can't be more helpful.
Chris
