Request: Project grouping

I find Organizer a great product. A feature I consider "nice to have" would be the ability to group projects (only in Project Explorer) in custom "folders" or a tree-like structure, i.e

  • Projects
    • Personal improvement
      • Fitness
        • PROJECT 1
        • PROJECT 2
      • Health
        • PROJECT 3
    • My trip to Europe
      • PROJECT 4
      • PROJECT 5

 ... IMO this groups represent "higher levels" of goals and would be helpful in the specific activity of reviewing the current planning of projects - probably not used on a daily basis, when tracking tasks or assigning tasks to projects. Regards, Jose

Workspaces

In the latest version, we've introduced workspaces to help organize projects into groups in the Project Explorer, e.g. here's my workspace layout:

  • Archive
    • Archive project 1
    • Archive project 2
  • Ceptara Admin
    • Training Development
    • Web Presence
    • Marketing
    • etc.
  • Ceptara Clients
  • Major Client 1
  • Major Client 2
  • Non-Profit Work
    • ASQ Board Activities
    • NWQF Activities
  • Personal
    • Remodel the Den
    • Personal Coaching
    • Robotics Coach

Project Explorer with Workspaces

To enable workspaces go into Tools-Options, Project tab and check the 'Use Workspaces' checkbox.  Project Explorer may need to be restarted to see the new workspace layout and workspace menu.
