Creating multiple projects for one client
Wed, 01/18/2012 - 04:42 — kmillar@realfmg.com
I am trying to use the Organiser, however the training Videos and Getting Started manual, while they refer to the ability to set up multiple projects for one client they do not show you how to actually do this.
I would be really grateful if anyone could give me some pointers.
Thanks in anticipation.

Use Workspaces
Kerry / Mark -
As a consultant, I often use multiple projects for a client. I like to use Workspaces to organize my projects within a specific client, e.g.
Assume we've started doing business with client XYZ. I may set up the first project as:
000123 - XYZ - LSS Kaizen Even
Then if we're asked to do a second project, I would set up a Workspace and add the second project, e.g.
XYZ Corp
- 000123 - XYZ - LSS Kaizen Event
- 000124 - XYZ - Metrics Dashboard
In the Project Explorer, I'll see the projects for that specific client grouped together. While maintaining the ability to track our time and group Outlook objects by project (category).
Hope that helps.
Chris

How to organize by ACCOUNT (OR client)
Kerry, did you ever get a resolution to this. I am a sales guy and want to organize my tasks by Account (or customer, or client, same thing to me) and then have subprojects for each project at a specific client. Did you figure this out? thx for your help in advance
Mark
