Keyboard Shortcuts and Drag & Drop

Do you foresee the availability of more keyboard shortcuts and/or drag & drop in future updates? For instance, if I want to delete a group of tasks in the explorer, I have to go one-by-one, correct? Also, if I want to easily change the focus of a task, I would like to be able to drag & drop the task.

Thank you.

Keyboard Updates

Henry -

Thank you for your note.

The short answer is yes - we are continually adding new abilities, and I will make sure your suggestion is firmly on our list.

One bit of advice - if you're doing a lot of mulit-task work, you may want to use Outlook's task view and organize by category (the projects and focuses are stored in the Tasks categories field).

thx
Chris

Henry,I couldn't agree more

Henry,I couldn't agree more :-) Keyboard shortcuts to trigger often used menu items (like file in folder)would help a lot! Furthermore, and not that difficult I guess, it would mean a lot when in Ceptara dialogs the focus would be instantly on the right part of the dialog. Example:Right click on e-mail - drawer - file in folder. The dialog 'Select project' appears. It would be nice when the focus is within the project list, so you can immediately start typing the first letters/numbers for the project name/code. This makes selecting the right project easy. After that, 'Tab' should lead to 'Next'. That way the default way of handling this task is executed in a glimpse.Cheers,Friso

Agreed

Yes, Friso - I certainly agree.I would also like to be able to number the tasks for a specific focus. If I have 10 tasks to do with a specific focus, I know that I can arrange them by priority etc., but I would like to be able to number them in an order that makes sense. For now, I've been setting the due date to today, tomorrow, etc. - but numbering incorporated with drag & drop would be great.

Thank you

Thanks so much, Chris. I look forward to the updates.

Most of my tasks are sorted by day, and if I don't finish them today, then I move them on to tomorrow or a future day when I have availability. The problem comes in when I have 10 small tasks to shift forward. I do use the Outlook task view when beneficial, but Ceptara is greatly preferred, even if that specific process is slower.

Thanks again.
